The Secretariat
Coordinating Regional Efforts
The Secretariat serves as the central administrative hub for the Regional Maritime Security Architecture. Based in Mauritius under the aegis of the Indian Ocean Commission, it coordinates efforts between member states and international partners.
Core Functions
- Logistical support for high-level meetings.
- Management of the Trust Fund.
- Liaison with international donors (EU, UN).
- Monitoring and Evaluation of the MASE programme.
