Collect & Process Information
Collect and process all information affecting the maritime domain of the East and Southern African region and the Indian Ocean from open and unclassified sources.
Information Fusion
Merge the information used with that of partner countries and organizations to maintain a Recognized Maritime Picture (RMP).
Share Reference RMP
Share the reference RMP with all participating states for maritime situational awareness.
Disseminate Analysis
Disseminate to institutional and state partners the analysis and relevant synthesis of maritime information on recognized potential risks.
Interact with RCOC
Interact with the Regional Operations Coordination Center (RCOC) for coordinated maritime operations.
Develop Cooperation
Develop regional and international cooperation in the collection, exchange, and use of maritime information with participating states.
Ensure Continued Cooperation
Ensure continued cooperation with regional and international organizations with expertise in maritime security, conservation, and environmental protection.
